Maybe but its telling that they pretty much showcased Brieda last week but never really used Coleman. I think that's a hint as well. They never used Coleman on tosses , screens, wheel routes, out wide, slant routes, off tackle runs, go routes, etc. nothing. Lol just remember that. they used Brieda for most of those things

Coleman did have more touches though. I think Kyle knows Coleman pretty good though so I'm hoping that we didn't see much if what hes capable of. I saw better holes for Breida too.

I looked up Terrell Davis today and I hadn't realized the Broncs drafted him at the bottom of the 6th rd. Who cares if Brieda's a UDFA if he's a perfect fit for a Shanahan offense?
Bingo!

Also many don't realize that Breida was seen as a first round talent going into his final year of college. He was up there with Fournette CMac and Cook.

just cut this scrub already and keep Wilson.

Lol . . . but I'm actually down with this!
BTW when has this guy ever showed anything? Not at Minnesota. Not in the preseason last year. Nothing. We only have Shanahan's belief that he's CAN be good. But then Shanahan, also went on a major pout unless the Niners drafted Williams, and CJ on a trade up, and he wasted a 3rd round pick to draft Pettis early (we'll see how that works out). So his assessments aren't actually a ringing endorsement.
McKinnon will work hard to remain injured so that he can sit back and collect his paycheck. If he actually plays everyone will see what a scrub he really is. He doesn't want that. If he gets injured, maybe he can squeeze another year's paycheck out of the Niners next year. More power to him if he can get away with it. The only problem is, though, he'll steal someone else's spot on the roster. Someone who may not be the teacher's pet, but actually adds value.

He had a hair shy of 1000 yds. r&r two years ago, his last season before getting hurt.

Coleman had 10 touches, Brieda had 11. He had more touches, more opportunities. And we haven't lol Coleman will definitely surprise you once the season comes. There were better holes and against 2nd string defenders.
