What does that mean?

It means that we only have surplus space because of carryover. They are already over the cap. So, It's like people who are spending more than they make every month and the only way they can do it is because they had savings. Eventually the savings run out.

either cut him. ir him or whatever. we over payed for him anyway. just do with him what they did with smith. admit it was a mistake. admit we are more than fine at running back. give him a settlement and send him on his way

It's a mistake because he blew his knee knee out? He never had injury issues before this and was signed to have a feature role in this offense. He was

overpaid

for 1 season

his body of work did not justify giving him all that money in my opinion. that was the mistake
