Juszcyzk is a great blocker and receiver, he has like 15 career carries. Mike Alstott he is not. If your plan is to constantly run him on 3rd and short and goalline situations where the defense comes to expect him to get the ball, you need a better plan.

On the Vikings, he was sir dance a lot

Not a fan of signing unless he learns to follow his blocks and stop running horizontal

ZBS is all about running horizontal.

Except you still need to know how to read blocks, which is Mackinnons biggest weakness

How do you know, did he play the ZBS in his previous team?

Yes, with Vikings. They changed to Zone to suit Cook

Believe in The Marathe.

Why.... pay.... so..... much....?

Trust in Paraag, once the real numbers come out I am sure he has to be an elite RB to reach 7.5

Sounds like 4 other teams were bidding hard too...basically Juice 2.0 scenario.

I wonder if the Rams were one of those teams.

Adam S. didn't note all of them but one was the Bucs.

Actually, you're right. He would be a great late round complement.
I know everyone is excited about the direction of this franchise. But people need to take a step back.

This is an awful contract for a player that should be making a third of what he signed for.

Add Earl Mitchell, Malcolm Smith, and Kyle Juszyzk to the mix and you've got a track record of overpaying for mediocre players/unimportant positions.

And I love everything Garoppolo, but time and again we're seeing franchises succeed when QBs are on their rookie contracts and they can use that cap space to build the rest of the team. 49ers could have gone that route, but opted to pay big at the QB position. Eagles and Rams are prime examples.

Pump the brakes.

This signing doesn't make sense to me. Does he have some secret knowledge on McKinnon? That type of RB could easily be had in the draft or possibly from TC roster cuts.

Roster cuts?

Lol. No

150 attempts for 570 yards at 3.8 per carry and he is not a good pass protector and is primarily a 3rd down back. Easily can get a RB like that from roster cuts, undrafted free agent or anything after the 4th round.

Joecool. Thank you for believe in me what I am saying it. We need looking for Stud Rush then sign LeGarrette Blount is cheap $$ than McKinnon.

Last time we overpaid for a Back...maybe Lynch will call Jet Mickinnon OW2.

I love you man! Kissfit!

We will see how this one goes but it was at a higher cost than we would like.

Guess we just need to trust Kyle in that this is a perfect fit for his offense.

Joe Williams' NFL comparable? Jerick McKinnon!

Nice, if Joe does not pan out, Jerick is here. But I thought Joe was more of a competitor of Breida/Hyde? Then again, they are all RB's. Now if Joe pans out, I wonder how the RB scenario shakes out. Is Breida gone? Hmmmm.....

The Vikings ran a ton of zone this past season. One of the reasons they dumped Boone.

8th best pass protector in the league.

It's how free agency works...he is young and he will play out the deal and the second two years will look fairly normal for what next years guys get. par for the course.

No that is not how free agency works. If it was, Crowell, Hyde, Lewis and the others would have signed similar deals.

One thing a Shanahan knows it's RB. People need to stop whining about this signing and just realize KS see's something you don't in this kid.
Hyde > McKinnon

I am scratching my head over this one.

Doesn't matter. Jet will mostly be running routes out of the backfield.
