If he hadn't been injured he'd have been an absolute star in KS offense.

Yeah that's the bummer it would have been a whole other dimension and perfect for Jimmy

I wonder that as well, could he have been that other explosive weapon we needed? I agree no way he comes back on same contract.
He's said he'd come back on a reduced contract. Basically, anything to kickstart his career again. I hope he's 100% healthy and it works out financially because you know Kyle would love to dust off that playbook he masterminded in the 2017 off season and never got to use.

I doubt he will be. John Lynch already stated that they were done restructuring deals. I think McKinnon will be cut and re-signed to a prove it deal.

That doesn't make sense. Once he's cut that DM hit is happening. They will restructure his deal

Right!!! It didn't make sense to me when Lynch said they were done with restructures after Kwon Alexander and Weston Richburg. There's still money to be retrieved with McKinnon and possibly Jimmy G..

John Lynch is a liar. He's just like Baalke.
Gonna be McKinnon, Mostert and Wilson next year.

NC, why are you hating on Coleman? The Zone seems so confused on why Shanny likes him lol. He's a good vet back.
We will for sure keep 4 RB's next year on the 53.

Throw Coleman In there as well and we can keep all of those running backs on the roster as long as we get rid of CJ at quarterback finally. We have to decide on what to do with Matty B??? If Wilson is still available for the practice squad we are good

the love for a guy who has never seen a regular season snap v the hate for a guy who was a big reason we went to the super bowl is just stunning to me here

Oh I like Coleman. But he costs $5M. McKinnon, IF healthy and restructured, locks down the passing game for Kyle, Mostert the running game and Wilson short yardage and RZ. Kyle said keeping 4 Arby's used to be a luxury and now, near a necessity.

But I think if McKinnon really is healthy, that affords them to keep 3 again and save 1 spot for another position. Plus, you know they'll have zero issues finding an UDFA for this system for the PS.

He's not worth $5M on a team-option. I'd rather burn a late day 3 pick on a scheme fit RB and use that cash to resign one of AA/Ward/Sanders.

U keep saying this but what if its the other way around ?? We can get a good receiver either through draft or FA. Ward is not getting a big contract. AA is the only one that should get money

oh he is for sure. I bet you he will be on the team. Shanny loves him and he knows the offense and doesn't fumble.

He means, he's not worth it when we only have $11M in cap space and have 3 other in house FA's that are far more valuable.

Remember how we acquired him too. Arby's are really easy to find.

Agree

If he's 100% healthy - we got ourselves a real weapon.
Just dont understand the infatuation with this guy. If what is being said in here is true, that restructuring over cutting him would aave us money, fine. But people claiming he is gonna be a real weapon, better than Coleman, etc. are talking out of their ***.
