I DID say he's a avg RB and they can replace his production via the draft....if you don't think so, then you have been paying attention to the Shanahan's and Bobby Turner for the past couple decades.
I'm not disagreeing with you but I think you might be underestimating how much Kyle likes Tevon.
Only thing that's true with Kyle is he LOVES to add RBs to the roster every single yr. He loved a lot of dudes that he brought in 2017, most of them are gone now as well.
He was the 3rd most productive RB on the team. Hey if he stays fine, it would be smart to just draft a RB and take that cash and invest it in IOL/CB/DT.

His nickname should be changed from Jet to Boing since he;s been grounded ever since he got here.

Waste of money and waste of a roster spot.

Could have cut this guy and signed Devonta Freeman....
Why do people keep saying stuff like this
they save MORE money by restructuring him. This is simply a pay cut. They can save around $6M in cap space by doing this (vs $4M by simply cutting him) AND they won't have any dead money in 2021. They see if he's got anything come training camp, if not cut him.
I understand and am fine with that as long as they actually cut him but he remains an unproductive IR player that continues occupying a roster spot.

The one thing he can do that our other backs don't do well is receiving. He;s supposed to be able to run routes like a receiver. Let's hope we get to see it next year.

No. Cutting him left a $4.5M cap hit. Restructuring does not.

But according to one poster, Coleman is injury prone and cant be relied upon. Easy cut.
Coleman is very replaceable
