Tell Frank Gore that RBs are never the same after knee injuries...

Didn't AD came back from ACL tear and had one of the best seasons ever?

If surgery is done right and rehab is excellent - players can often return with a stronger knee after an ACL fear.

Fact that he got 2 years off - and from everything we have read - he looks like he's finally 100% healthy - I fully expect him to be the player he was before the injury. What concerns me most is re-injury...not losing his explosiveness and ability to cut.

This x 10000000000

McKinnon will be a true dual threat RB (and only such RB on the roster) if he is 100% healthy.

Tell that to Jamaal Charles/AP/bell/Gore and WRs like Allen/Rice/Edelman/Robinson etc.

No one is asking him or any of our RBs to be a worse horse RB. If anything McK is gonna be the passing down RB.

Again saying no thanks to a guy who's busting his ass to play an from the looks of it has made good progress is silly.

Charles and Bell havent really been that good since returning. Not like they were before injuries. But all of our rbs have paid their dues, why can a guy just automatically get a shot like that. I can already see Shanahan trying to run the passing rb concept into the ground.

Also no one is saying he's anything, it's good to see him moving/cutting the way he is. More talent is good

Just saying "no thanks" is silly imo.

Okay so lets go back for a sec, He tore his ACL. Then when he was progressing nicely , he was starting to swell and had
Complications from the surgery. Then he needed another surgery to fix that problem. I just cant be confident in that knee, ik people that still have flare ups and have an arthritic component or arthritis after knee surgery. I think there's no way 2 knee surgeries dont affect your speed and explosiveness.

If Kyle can feature him the way he wants, he could seriously be in POSITION to be comeback player of the year.

Does pettis post Anything like this? Any workout videos at all?

Of course! He's all ball.

This guy really bothers me. NO wonder he was in Shanahan's dog house he acts like a dumb ass!!!

I can't wait for the draft.

SMH

He's a trip!
IMO, we'll know by TC if Jet is able to fly.

I hope so and I feel JL/KS will be prepared to make adjustments.

barrows said compared to taylor and hurd, that jet is the healthiest
This is a make or break year for Taylor, Hurd hopefully is healthy sooner rather than later, because Hurd can be used at multiple positions. If Jet is healthy right now, then Coleman should be cut/traded, so we can use his 4.86 million to better help build this roster. There are still players in FA worth bringing in, and having an extra 5 million can go a long ways, especially when we still have Mostert-Breida-Wilson guaranteed, along with McKinnon.

Sounds like were cutting all three.

Generational RB talent and physical freak versus McKinnon. Not holding my breath.

None of our RBs can catch and actually be a problem in the passing game.

What do you mean none of our RBs can catch? They all can. Evidence below.

This is true. I think the fact that he never used Tevin Coleman in that role (and I thought he was the most accomplished pass catcher of all the running backs), should've revealed to us that McKinnon was going to stay. I hope he makes an account of himself this year because for all of his offensive genius, when he gets locked on a particular player offensively, there are a lot of strike outs.

With that said, I'm looking forward to an even more dynamic running game next year (Mostert, Breida, Coleman, McKinnon + Samuel and Hurd).
It's been great watching the running back squad with their elite speed. Any one of them can easily take it to the house from the 30.

I look forward to finally seeing what jet can do, along with his pass reception and route running skills.
Adrian Peterson had an incredible return - hopefully McK will too.

Wasn't Gore's injury a knee one before the draft?
