Knees are never the same after an injury especially for a rb. He wasnt that good before the injury, Mostert can do everything he can and better.

Wasn't Gore's injury a knee one before the draft?

Gore actually tore the same ACL in his knee twice in college.
Just saw his newest workout vid on IG looking like he's gonna be ready to roll.

It's be crazy if he actually fully recovered and we finally got to see him in action.

I thought Gore tore both of his knees?

None of our RBs can catch and actually be a problem in the passing game.

What do you mean none of our RBs can catch? They all can. Evidence below.

There's a difference between catching here and there and having the route running to devise game plans around. THAT'S why Kyle loved McKinnon so much. He loves Breida, Wilson, Mostert and Coleman but he isn't drawing up any receiving games around their abilities...running? Absolutely!

I always thought Kyle was gonna use Jet like the Rams used Faulk....which is why he was so devastated when he went down 2 years ago. So much of the playbook was then scrapped.

Okay so you say let's see how he is vs defenders before proclaiming anything THEN you say he definitely lost speed/explosiveness before you've see him actually play lol

Also no one is saying he's anything, it's good to see him moving/cutting the way he is. More talent is good

Just saying "no thanks" is silly imo.

Okay so lets go back for a sec, He tore his ACL. Then when he was progressing nicely , he was starting to swell and had
Complications from the surgery. Then he needed another surgery to fix that problem. I just cant be confident in that knee, ik people that still have flare ups and have an arthritic component or arthritis after knee surgery. I think there's no way 2 knee surgeries dont affect your speed and explosiveness.

I agree. I think this is Mckinnons last shot. I remember Marcus Lattimore and how he had setback after setback and once he got on the field, he was finished. I see the same trajectory with Mckinnon. I don't see how he can get 100% with all the setbacks he's had.

Yea. Why get rid of Breida without seeing if McK can still do it?

Marcus Lattimore had his knee wrapped around his head...he's lucky he can walk. Every video I've seen of McK he's cutting well, speed and power are there as well.

He doesn't need to be a 200 touch guy, third down back who can catch the ball and offer some juice.

Because they can pickup UDFAs and make it work. No need to pay Breida $3M. Hasty/Ahmed/wilson can all make this final roster. (I like Hasty he's got some Freeman in him).

Maybe they trust their medical staff? you know, the professionals who actually get paid to look at Jet and then determine if his knee is no longer a concern.

Looking at him workout on IG, he looks like he's close to his old self with the way he's cutting and jumping again. Also because of this pandemic, he's going to have a few extra months before he has to get on an NFL field again, so he'll be even further removed from his last setback.
Just keep handing the ball to Raheem...we'll be fine.
