i had no hopes for him. i am very willing to give him a chance. i am glad we got rid of matt. even if jet fizzles. we have three solid running backs on the roster and the way our good luck goes with running backs.. i bet one of the undrafted guys we signed will end up to be another wilson jr . we got three fine backs. no offense to those who hate coleman.. and whatever we get from jet is gravy. i will have a open mind on him.

Ya I wouldn't be surprised if one of our UDFAs end up being a major contributor. It's the Shanahan way. Maybe next offseason, we'll trade Mostert for a 3rd round pick

Dumbest post on this thread. MOSTERT is by far the best RB on the team and every possession he is out is a waste.

I won't be surprised by any RB movement or change. Shanahan's dad had a new 1000 yard rusher every year in Denver. It's more about the system than the player. In fact, unless some incredible talent falls in our laps, I don't see This regime ever drafting a RB before the 4th round.

A healthy Jet would be amazing, but I could see the team getting back to the SB featuring Wilson in the backfield. That's how much faith I have in this system.

It's not as crazy as you would think. Kyle tried to draft Kamara in the third but Lynch convinced him to trade that pick to the Saints.

Ditto! I agree, I'm excited to see those undrafted rookie RB's performing in the system also. I'd love it for one of them or both of them to be able to break through and land on the 53 man roster. Here's a toast to them!

Shanahan has had great success with plug and play RB, Mostert and Breida are just the most recent. At this point last season Mostert was only seen as a ST player. I agree with you that he's our best option currently, and if he continues to play at a high level, I wouldn't be surprised at all if we trade him for a mid or even high draft pick. That is our system, "dumbest post" comment...

Dude can be such an X factor for us. I'm not exactly counting on him but man in this offense watch out

Terrible signing.

It's terrible because he tore his ACL?? We have absolutely no idea how kyle was gonna use him...not saying he's Christian McCaffrey or anything, but I could envision him being used like that, especially in the passing game.

He may have had a decent impact in helping Jimmy G too so there is value there for me

He's one of the best blocking RBs in football. If he can cut anything like he could before the injury (video shows he can) we will see more passes to the RB.

He's had setbacks during his rehab - what's it going to be for him in live action?
