Agreed cc, even if Jet can't make it through TC I'm also perfectly comfortable going into the season with Mostert, Coleman and Wilson. I got a good feeling that Jet is healthy and will contribute this season, he seems to be working hard. Having a rotation at RB is only good for the knee of Jet, I'm pretty excited to see the offense this season.

He's had setbacks during his rehab - what's it going to be for him in live action?

He wasn't cutting and running like he was this time last yr. he didn't even get to "live action" because of the setbacks.

It's not as crazy as you would think. Kyle tried to draft Kamara in the third but Lynch convinced him to trade that pick to the Saints.

Kyle wanted joe Williams

Shanahan has had great success with plug and play RB, Mostert and Breida are just the most recent. At this point last season Mostert was only seen as a ST player. I agree with you that he's our best option currently, and if he continues to play at a high level, I wouldn't be surprised at all if we trade him for a mid or even high draft pick. That is our system, "dumbest post" comment...
some of us knew what you meant

Thanks man

you will never catch me saying in hindsight from the back seat.. oh lynch was dumb for trading matt. i look forward to seeing the undrafted guys in pre season... they will get lots of reps so we do not get our main guys beat up

Deebo, Aiyuk, Kittle, Juszczyk and Jet on the field together.

Who knows whether we get Jet or a Turbo Prop.

On the field Joe Williams, not off the field Joe Williams.
I would be surprised if he had 100 yards rushing for an entire season

Rookie coaching mistake. I think he's learned his lesson. All the guys he's getting on team are pit bulls, not kitty kats.

This, it's not like Joe Williams wasn't talented. Major flag was when he quit on the team and Lynch took him off the board. Looks like now they're prioritizing majorly on character and the love for the game

As NC always says, Hustle beats talent if talent doesn't hustle.

How many years left on his contract?

His next contract will be huge, so we may only have him for this one. Guys a worker, those guys go far!
He already played his way to a big contract with us from the Vikings, now he will out work this contract.

I love it!

he should play two years on vet minimum just to make up for our trust in giving him another chance.
