It's not Jet I questioned, it his knee. Weekly practices and a game on Sunday for 16 weeks.

Don't worry we have like 5 not only serviceable but really good running backs. Among them, Jet probably will be a Swiss Army knife weapon this year.

Good call!

That's a lot of wear and tear.

Probably, a turbo prop - don't have much confidence in McKinnon doing much.

He's looking pretty darn good to me....Cutting/running routes. squats doing explosive drills etc.

Let's see him do something on the field, without having any setbacks.

Exactly, I remember Jason Verrett posting impressive "workout" videos and we know how that turned out last year.

How many years left on his contract?

His next contract will be huge, so we may only have him for this one. Guys a worker, those guys go far!
He already played his way to a big contract with us from the Vikings, now he will out work this contract.

I love it!

He's under contract thru 2021...team option in 2021 for $2M

NICE!

Wasn't Verrett coming back from a torn Achilles that happened less than a year earlier?

Jet has been recovering (for 2 years) from a torn ACL, right?

Two completely different injuries.

I just think it's important for people to remember that Verrett had played one game in three years going into last season. Then he hurts his ankle in training camp and misses all of preseason. You'd have to expect some rust given the context when he entered the Steelers game.

I don't know what's realistic to expect from him going forward but obviously the brief time the niners had with him, they liked him enough to bring him back for another shot.

he should play two years on vet minimum just to make up for our trust in giving him another chance.

We should pay him extra for getting him injured in camp and then messing up his recovery and causing an additional year set back.

I'm sure lynch is already working on a max deal with him. He loves paying them injured players.

Its realistic to expect nothing. If that is your mindset moving forward with McKinnon, it is impossible to be disappointed.

Workout videos are like highlight reels. Extremely misleading. Working out is not playing football. Alert me when we get any form of production out of this dude

All they mean is that he is in shape. We will see what happens when he starts playing some football, in camp or otherwise.

Yeah I mean it was kind of a rhetorical question.

Jerick is trying hard to get back - I wish him nothing but good luck. He'll be taking Breida's spot.
