Nice post! I keep preaching the same thing especially with a short passing game which we lacked to running back's last year and Trent Taylor is the man on third downs.
You think so? I'm not a fan of only having a horizontal stretch offense. Defenses can easily play C3 and crowd the s**t out of all those short routes. Praying Aiyuk can help vertically stretch the field. He's our only hope. Otherwise, it will be another season of short passing and heavily relying on play design while we chip away down the field. It's going to get frustrating.
Can't just put Jet, Mostert, Juszczyk, and Kittle on the field into space without that deeper threat. Even if Deebo is in, it just isn't feasible in the long run. The better defenses will make it tough to sustain long drives.
