Yup I agree, Shanahan must've had him high on his radar and made him a must signing, assuming that's the case is exciting what's in store for Jerick moving forward in this offense..

Let's see what the REAL numbers are. Solid pick-up. I would have rather signed a guard or a WR with this money but I think McKinnon could be a 60-70 catch guy in this offense and give us a real home run threat out of the backfield. Only 25yrs old as well and that's what makes/made him more appealing than Dion Lewis IMO

Yes, he is an elite pass blocker and good receiver. Though you can not count on him to run.
