We paid this this guy for two season of rehab, and one mostly ineffective one and he throws shade at us

The 49ers paid Jerick McKinnon $916,250 per game he played in.

Exactly! Way to leave an organization with class. If he was able to produce, maybe he'd get more playing time. Pretty selfish statement imo.

At least he took out a seahawk. No one else on our team has done that.
But yeah. See ya.

He had "tired legs" in October. Good riddance.

He still gets paid $2 million in 2021 if he's on or off the 49ers roster it said in the front page article... and he still acts like a f**k...

"F*ck no! On to the next city" 😂
Rather stupid thing to say since it was nobody's fault that he blew out his knee on a non-contact practice play. Shanalynch backed him up the whole time despite never getting the player they signed to big money. Obviously they weren't gonna keep him for next season after he couldn't win the job despite guys ahead of him going down constantly ahead of him this year, but still.

yeah, that is a pretty poor response. I'll be pretty surprised if anyone picks him up. He was very ineffective when given opportunities. Also doesn't have the same traits that made him so effective.
With that all said, I hope he gets another opportunity and does well. I wish no ill will on the guy.
He was actually decent in the beginning of the season, but he looked like he wasn't the same down the stretch, I'll give him credit, he played all 16 games, but those 2 yrs missed really hurt him, I wouldn't bring him back anyway, I'd rather have Mostert, Wilson & Hasty at RB in 2021.
As for Jet, I hope he gets a chance elsewhere, Idk exactly how he factors into comp picks, I think players with voidable years don't count towards getting or not getting comp picks. Our best hopes would be Sherman(5th at most due to the 10yr accrued rule), Tartt(likely a 5th if he gets what Ward got), DJ Jones(Late rounder), K'Waun(5th), Hyder(5th), Trent(5th at most due to the 10yr accrued rule), Juice(late rounder), Verrett(4th if he can really net $10M+ a yr). Now of course I want Trent, Juice, Hyder, Verrett & K'Waun back, but I can see the last 3 heading to the Jets along with Sherman.

His reaction sounded ungrateful considering he wad carried on the roster for years despite injury. This year he actually looked slow. He had that one catch for a Td that stood out. Good luck to him , stay classy when you leave a current employer while looking for a job.

Someone will probably pay him a minimum just because he does have some duel ability. His last game against the Hawks he made a couple good plays.
He may move more like a hoverboard than a jet now, but good luck him.

Injuries robbed him and that player we saw in Minn. may be gone forever.

Literally the first time I've ever agreed with asshat Cohn.
