It was actually 84.6 overall, which was 8th best in the NFL behind Le'Veon Bell.

Hyde was 50th at 51.6...

He's on page 3.

The WZ is seething right now

Isn't Schrager a niner homer? lol he also said that we had quietly one of the better offseasons this year.

He is but that doesn't mean he isn't an insider with truth. Nothing he said was opinion-based.

Hyde was a 51.6 grade...

It's not even close.

And how Shanahan turned Goodwin into a legit threat in this system I fully expect him to do the same with McKinnon.

This dude can't handle 20 carries a game and we're paying him like he can

Carlos Hyde carried the ball 20 times in a game twice last season lol

Hyde had 20+ touches only 14 times in his 4 yr career (50 games).

Oh I believe that, i do like schrager.
...turning Garoppolo into a check-down machine one brick at a time.
Definitely a better fit for the scheme than Hyde. Money to me is whatever - I'm not paying him.

Seriously I don't know what kind of drink everyone is having here... absolutely no questioning anything and saying in shanalynch/ maarte we trust ... and if someone questions the contract, everyone talks it's overreaction and give the excuse that we have so much cap space

Well we had the money because we had to purge everyone and start from scratch but now we are rewarding contracts like the money is too much for us to carry and just want to unload it ... I'd rather have given Norwell his 60 mill instead of doling out $30 to mckinnon

Then you dont want a Shanahan ran offense.

If you want ground and pound go cheer for the Jaguars or Cowboys.
Thank you! NORWELL WAS NOT A SCHEME FIT!!!!! Not to mention you pay him that money and he comes in instantly making more than Staley? You still have to rework Staley and possibly Brown. You have the rookie class and more FA's to sign. You can't blow money then not be able to retain the players you draft who are hopefully good. Stupid. Mitchell, Smith were over pays yes but we weren't just signing them for their talent. They also needed leadership and a winning pedigree in the locker room. McKinnon will be a valuable piece for Kyle. He actually might be more valuable to Kyle more than any other coach or team. We'll see. If your going to complain please tell me who you would have signed, why and for how much. I bet if some of you did that we would have no cap room right now. Lol

Adam S. said 4 teams were competing too. Bidding war like Juice last year.

Norwell has the speed to play ZBS. I don't have problem with McKinnon, I have problem with his contract

Look at rams, they are already trading their stud DE Quinn and Ogletree because it's difficult in this league to win with having multiple positions that you pay big $ on. I have always felt RB is one position you can find cheap but good value unlike DBs, QB, LT

They traded Ogletree and Quinn because they aren't a fit for Wade Phillips 3-4 D. Ogletree was mis-cast as a 3-4 MLB and him and Barron were undersized for the position.
