lol at people being so mad at this dude. He went through some bad injuries. All things equal, I'm sure he would much rather have been playing, especially in 2019. I don't have any animosity towards him. The 49ers gave him a shot, it didn't work out. That's football, injuries happen and not everyone comes back from them the same.
Watch him tear it up...

He's way too slow for that to happen.

The animosity wouldnt be nearly as large if he didnt trash this team on his way out. That's why its F**K him for me. Especially considering how little he actually gave this franchise while being paid handsomely for it. He should be thanking his lucky stars we gave him what we did, instead of talking s**t.

Just thought I'd throw this out here.....

Imagine if he never got hurt and was a valuable piece in the season opener that year against the Vikings? (and say we won that game).....

The state of the franchise would have been altered quite a bit. Jimmy G most likely doesn't get an ACL injury that season, and who knows what happens.

The JG could have been a franchise 49er QB is tied to the McKinnon injury in my mind.

There are so many "what ifs" like this in 49er history.
My personal favorite is tied to TO and the catch 2.

If Owens doesn't make the catch, then Garrison Hearst never gets injured. Mariucci is likely fired and replaced by the recently departed from GB, Mike Holmgren.

Since Hearst isn't injured, we never sign Lawrence Phillips and and Steve Young's career continues for 2-3 more years under Holmgren.

Ugh
The Jet: big in the weight room, small on the field. Fast in shorts, slow in pads.
Jet is more of a 4 seater cessna at this point.

He seemed to have gotten salty on the team after they restructured his deal and eliminated the final year. People don't like the way he reacted to his exit from a team that invested a lot of money in him for little return, myself included.

yeah. his emphatic "hell no" when asked if he was going to return to the Niners was a terrible look. especially from a fan perspective.

How you going to be salty when you get paid millions of dollars to rehab for 2 years? Lol, dude should have been thankful that management kept him for so long with zero production.

Who knows. Probably didn't like the crowded backfield when he rehabbed, no one likes taking paycuts and I'm sure million dollar athletes are no exception and that's ok but as Boast mentioned above, saying "hell no, we gone" in response to his teammate asking about a return was just a bad look regardless.

With the Niners luck, he will have some kind of crazy record breaking year in KC. Then I'll be the salty one, lol.
