We seen what happened when Shanahan "really" wanted someone, like Joe Williams. McKinnon is another scrub. First bad signing of the year.

But solid signing. The guy can catch. Has solid hands for a back. Fast as hell too.
When a RB gets 30M he is your lead back.

Kyle dropping dimes for a FB and RB. Who'd have thunk it?

Needs to have more rushing yards.
Depends...look at the Freeman/ Coleman splits under Shanny. One was clearly the predominant pass catching back and one favored the run. If we see McKinnon with a split like that and Breida gets a grand on the ground with Wlliams chipping in another 300 or so? That is a hell of a run game.

If he beats out Williams I'm expecting around 1100 rushing and 750 receiving!
Williams? He hasnt even earned a roster spot yet.

Wrong. Good signing for a good player.

Like Evan Silva stated he's a "poor man's Alvin Kamara" I think we need to draft a bigger back to get that combo going...Freeman/Chubb/Pennny make the most sense
Breida/Williams will be fighting for a roster spot IMO

Like i have said you dont give 30M to a RB to have him rush 150 times.

Good pickup, just have to see how the deal was structured. Appears that the Niners overpaid on the surface. Then again, it's not like they don't have the money.

Why do so many people jump to conclusions the second they see a large number attached to our signings? We don't hand out bad contracts.

That's too much money for this guy. What is this? There is no production level to say he is worth that much money. He doesn't have enough numbers to be worth that contract. I don't get this one. He's a fast RB. But the production just is not there.
