Everyone freaking out about the contract but no one knows what the real contract value is.

So we're paying him more than what Hyde is getting from the Browns (3 year 15mill?)
I hope we know him well. If he can be more durable than Hyde....well that's a start. But Hyde was a tough scary RB to go up against. At least he didn't go to Seattle.

Breida/Williams will be fighting for a roster spot IMO
I think Williams is probably done if we draft another RB, unless these moves motivate him to step his game up to another level.

Forget the contract, dude just sucks. I would have much rather paid Hyde $15 mil of that was all it took. McKinnon does NOTHING better than Hyde

I liked him in MIN and never cared about the money (hey, it's not mine!), but I'm thinking we still draft one in 4th/5th round.

But solid signing. The guy can catch. Has solid hands for a back. Fast as hell too.
When a RB gets 30M he is your lead back.
Tell that to Freeman. You're way too caught up on price bro. Quit fixating. McK will definitely be splitting carries.
That's a good thing. McK isn't a complete back. Shanny is all about scheme and he prefers RB by committee.

I remember him and the Samoan Brother stepping in when Peterson was in trouble/injured?. They did a great job.
McKinnon can take it to the house from any part of the field. Has break away speed no?

how does he suck? He was a top 10 RB last year and will only be 26.

He sucks so much the Vikings traded for Latavius Murray and drafted Cook with their first pick in the draft last season . And we give him $30 mil. LMAO

I think McKinnon adds an element the Niners havent had on this team in years. Literally. I also agree they overpaid for his services but its not my money and the guarantees are really all that matters. He isnt a feature back but super versatile and can play some WR. He is a chess piece and someone not many linebackers can cover. He is in the mold of Dion Lewis, Christian Mcaffrey or Kamara and returns kicks also.

This is the free-agent running back I wanted us to sign. Really happy about this. He's going to do really good things in Shanahan's offense. I am concerned about the money, but I have faith in Paraag.
