I think too many people are missing this point. Paying what they did, how they did, wing hurt this team any way you look at it.

My thoughts... How this changes anything is beyond me. Now we can focus on other positions in the draft. We are spending money we have and most likely wont use.

My final answer: Is a two-year $16M contract (which is basically what this is unless he plays like a top 5 RB) overspending? Why yes, yes it is.

Will I lose sleep over it? No, I really won't.
