I think he is by far one of the most overrated quarterbacks in the league. When I watch him play on third downs he either takes a sack or throws an incomplete pass and that's with an incredible line and an incredible supporting cast. Whenever they are in scoring position whether it be a field goal or a touchdown he wilts under pressure, he's also not that accurate imo. I hope they pay this guy a lot of money

Dak turning down that contract is absolutely insane. If I am a GM, I wouldnt want Dak period, let alone for what they offered him. Offered $35M a year and he wants $45M a year. FOH dude. Id rather draft a QB and start him day one than give out anything close to what the Cowboys offered.

That being said, I hope the Cowboys cave and give him his $45M a year.

I hope they dont pay that. Thats gonna set a new market for QBs. Then Pat is gonna want more. And if Jimmy balls out, hes gonna wanna be payed like one of the best. Gonna spend 50 mil a year on a QB.

They will pay him. That's just how the league is

They may go the same route as the Redskins did with Cousins; where he was franchised twice or three times before letting him go in FA.

Dak would probably fetch a 1st round draft choice.

Looks like Dallas will be in a position to draft a top 3 QB.

The way this season is playing itself out, it looks as if drafting a QB will be a priority on several teams agenda ...

There's going to be teams who just recently drafted QBs who will draft QBs again. Like the Jets and Giants.

The Giants aren't drafting a QB again. Daniel Jones is only in his second year and has largely done fine considering the lack of talent around him. I don't see anyway they give up on him for what, another rookie that will struggle to perform on the same exact roster? They don't need a QB, they need to build up the talent on their roster badly.

Maybe, not the Giants, but the Jets and Cowboys might be.

Dak can put up big numbers. He can run, and throw deep. His price is too high for his ceiling. Plus, coming off a scary injury will he be the same. Get rid of Jimmy, get a rookie QB, and start a veteran until the rookie is ready.
Dak can put up crazy numbers, but he isn't worth 45 a year. Hope Dallas coughs it up like they did for Elliot.

Cowboys aren't drafting a qb, unless Jones goes full dumb ass like he can be. They never should've drafted Lamb but took him because of his name when they should've drafted best d player. They need to take the best available player on d next year. Jets, Jags and Washington are definitely taking qbs and if we really want Wilson Lynch is going to have to be crazy aggressive and move ahead of that 3rd team because Lawrence and Fields are wayyyy out of reach

Dallas has the leverage in negotiating again with Dak getting hurt, sort of. He bet on himself with the franchise tag, but seeing how poorly that offense has done since he went down he could ask for more. But its plainly obvious that Dallas needs Dak, and they need to build up their defensive talent before addressing the QB position.

If we want to get Z. Wilson, and Dallas could have one of the top 5 picks, Lynch could get in contact with Jerrah and offer him a heavens bounty for us to leapfrog Washington and get our FQB in Wilson.

Dak will probably not eve be ready to start the season. Dallas doesn't need Dak long term when they can get a promissing healthy low cost rookie and franchise tag Dak.

Sports radio is even thinking that dallas is tanking to get a QB. I see them as a threat to us from getting our new QB
