If Kyle is anything like his dad when it comes to drafting early round O-line, we will be pleasantly surprised with this pick. Definitely not sexy though with the LBs, DBs, and WRs on the board. If Brown's shoulder or weight issues keep him out, we will be happy that we grabbed the #1 tackle in the draft when we did.

Trent Brown is due a huge contract after the season(if he plays as well as he has been playing) and Staley is gonna be 34 in August....im fine with the pick....McGlinchey provides solid depth for the two tackle positions and maybe can play guard for us if pressed into service....Hopefully, we move up in the 2nd round and grab CB Josh Jackson or Landry to full Dumervil's old spot....

Me too. If this guy starts our pass pro is literally worse. WTF? Maybe he can fix his pass pro issues, we drafted another OT with pass pro issues that never really panned out.
At least we can better run those stretch plays, jimmy gonna get killed but our new RB should be ok.

He was among the top LT's in college the last 2 years. Before the season, he and Nelson were being talked about as the top 2-4 picks in this draft. For every analyst saying he'll only play RT in the NFL there's another saying he's an LT.

He pass blocks just fine. He was dominant when he played on the right side at Notre Dame. And as a bonus they won't be averaging like 2 yards a carry when they run to the right this season.

Yes but he can't handle speed which is why he's going to take over at right tackle. Everybody thinks I don't like the guy and I don't think he's a good offensive lineman but that's not the case I just think we could have got way better in the first round than we just did
