It's very good it's looking like we will have him week 1, but it sucks that we will be considered lucky if we get 10-12 games out of him.

Welp, they haven't put him on I.R. yet so that's good.
It will be ok NC 😂
I love the optimism! I'd feel fine if he didn't play as long as Brunskill moved out there.
Agree. And untill i actually see him play, I'm not expecting much from McGlinchey this season. I still think the PRP procedure is a bad sign for his durability.

I think I mentioned this before but a few reporters saw Mike McGlinchey practicing on Monday and said he was visibly limping after a few plays. This is not going to end well at right tackle especially if Brunskill can't fill in. Maybe if Brunskill and MM can't play, put the new OL from the Browns (or Poe) at RG and Burford at RT for the time being

Never heard he was visibly limping . Seemed to be moving well in videos I saw

#49ers T Mike McGlinchey was back at practice today. Here's a look at his drill work from Monday's practice. pic.twitter.com/KH4MkLnm4D

Ah yes. Lets replace 1 injury prone player that hasn't lived up to his draft status with another just like him. Makes a lot of sense.
Yuck...so over relying on injured players. Have we not seen enough here? Have we not been burned a dozen times already?

They did say it will be a pain tolerance thing. It does look like he limps after one of those reps.

I knew it was a mistake when they extended that fifth year for him. Every idiot could see that was a huge mistake

We need long term answers on the o-line.
Right now, Trent is the only sure thing and he's not getting any younger.
