Lol, he's only had 5 pressures given up this season, I believe, he's been good, too bad he'll play his way out of our price range IMO.

I'm not so sure about that. Have to see how the season goes IMO. I feel like a lot will ride on how the young fellas do. If they aren't gonna cut it, gotta make cap space to keep MM. It's pretty obvious that good linemen aren't all that easy to find and I'd rather pay Mike than depend on Moore to protect Trey.

On run defense, DT are supposed to push to the the blocker backward a bit and play at the other side of the line of scrimmage. The fact that Aaron Donald wasn't able to do that when he wasn't doubled means the blocker won. MM did an excellent job one on one against Aaron Donald on that play.

Yep. We had a gameplan to only have quick passes and people acting like McGlinchey has changed his stripes. Don't get me wrong I love s**t talking to Ramsey but it's not changing my opinion of him

McG didn't get his name called Mon nite and that means he did well. And there were zero sacks. So good game Glinch.

Yep. We had a gameplan to only have quick passes and people acting like McGlinchey has changed his stripes. Don't get me wrong I love s**t talking to Ramsey but it's not changing my opinion of him

It will be interesting to see what his value is around the league this offseason. I've always thought his pass protection and run blocking was worse than than his PFF grades. But we could still do worse if we don't find a decent replacement.

Fixed

Same message applies to the entire offensive line. Aaron Donald made a few plays. But not enough. And Aaron didn't get any help.

Glinch just doesn't get the credit and love from Zoners that he should.

Hes been ok this year. There were 5 Olineman worse than him playing for the Rams Monday. We saw Donald contained about as much as you can contain him while our dLine feasted.

The Glinch is worth every penny the 49ers pay the guy.

What's wrong with Ebukam? He's worth re-signing, only 2 EDGE rushers signed next year(Bosa & Jackson), would be a great signing along with Moseley, need to keep this defense together.

There's nothing wrong with Ebukam. Not a thing. But great right or left tackles don't grow on trees. They take time to develop. It's very rare to draft a tackle that immediately steps in and becomes super successful. Even Joe Staley took his lumps when he first started out. The Glinch is poised to have his first great year as a 49er. Not just good. GREAT. As in "best right tackle in the NFL" kind of great.

I just think it would be a bad idea to prioritize the signing of Ebukam over Glinch.
