top half in the nfl at RT
take a look at the RT's across the nfl folks

He does. Many don't realize what OL looks like across the league. He's definitely in the top half of right tackles.

He's been alright-to-good. He's likely a top30 to top40 T in the league (at worst) - before his injury last year he was a top 15 run blocker and top25 pass blocker... you can do a LOT worse and i don't think it would be as easy to replace him as some people seem to insinuate...

I'm very curious what the FO is going to do with MM. Kyle loves him as much as Saleh loved Ward.
going to be tough call if MM keeps improving

And the whole health thing. You WANT to trust those legs but...plus the cost is going to be $15M APY if he hits the market.

He is and I'd let him walk for that reason.

Definitely but I don't see them spending that much. Ebukam has come on really strong as has Moseley. I'd try to extend them both in season and use our draft capital to get two tackles and a center on day 2.

WZ is so flip-flop lol. Before the season started, people saying Ebukam was a bad signing.

I definitely wasn't. I actually thought he'd be extended before the season started because he had a huge cap number or traded because we had so much depth. But yes, this place flip flops
I'm not a huge fan of MM but I thought he deserved some love for this last game. His run blocking has improved to 2019 level IMO.

Just the fact that he's healthy is huge...everything after that is a bonus. He's going to earn a big contract next year for another team.

i mean i wouldn't mind keeping him at the right price

i dont think we will be able to draft anyone close to his level of talent at RT and that leaves FA because i dont think we have a full time starter on the bench

His problem is more injury related than talent (and no im not saying he was worth where we drafted him) but he is a very good player
Only resign if he keeps this stretch of play on OUR terms, not getting in a bidding war for him tho. 1 year knowing you're playing for a contract doesn't warrant a bidding war

I don't think it will take $15M APY to get him back. Maybe closer to $9M to $12M APY range.

Uhhhh, you may want to check the RT market, my friend. It'll be no different than Tomlinson hitting the market. Teams pay huge $ to quality OL if they make it to FA.

Did you just describe McGlinchey as a quality OL? I don't remember the exact wordings you have been using, but the way you described him he was closer to a piece of trash than a quality OL.

Haha. Not me. He's always been a below average PP (esp. on 3rd downs and in the RZ; penalties) and above average RB. Very solid. My concerns were more around his health and banking on it without a viable backup. FO concerns.

If this current page number means anything I say he gets a 1 year deal.
Yeah this dude gotta go. They need someone at RT with a little more sand in his pants.

Yup. He is gone and we should take the 3rd round comp in 2024
