We can agree to disagree. McG the comments I hear are he's trash and I don't think that jives with the reality of 0 sacks allowed vs Mack.

KS I love our HC. I do think he needs more trust in analytics and someone to make the roster decisions for our next QB. I am on the KS wagon, getting rid of him would be a major mistake!

Yes I can say good game McG and room for improvement game from KS if that's how I see it. KS coached us to a win but I saw a lot to be desired. Offense looked sluggish after a bye and the decisions lowered our win prob.. he does that a lot. Stuff to work on. McG has a lot to work on as well he may be compromised with past injuries not giving him much strength or base. He gets too much hate on here and I feel I must balance it out a bit, because he's better than this thread would have you believe.

Yup lol he shot us in the foot a bit. Perhaps put his foot in his mouth with the comments. I stand by the thinking; with all pros all over the offense we should be scoring more than 22 or 23 I agree with that.

He had a bad game but the weird thing is that he seems better in pass pro this year while taking a step back in run blocking. Like that was his saving grace.

now I'm not saying he is good at pass pro, just less sh*tty lol. But his run blocking just doesn't look top tier this year and he's been tops in the league in that area. So now he's just like an Adam Snyder .

No sacks, but he was a bear hugging machine. He got lucky a few times, missed blocks and caught out of position... but the plays went away from him or were too quick for it to matter. If they could hit on drafting a true RT... convert him to the blocking TE role, his body just isnt meant for an NFL tackle and he doesnt have the anchor for it. Whats it been 5 years? And he is still talked about as the weakest link or second weakest link on a weekly basis.

Awesome post. On of my fav plays of the game. 3rd and long. House blitz. I've seen JG get rattled on these and not know what to do and eat a negative play. Not here. Ball out quick and complete. First down. Throws beyond the sticks.

Not sure exactly but looks like McG one on one no help on Mack which was the case most of the game. He kept a clean sheet in terms of sacks against.

This dude is a liability, it's why I said it was a blessing in disguise when he got hurt last year. Tom Compton > Mcuseless

This. I've said for years that MM is a problem. He's overrated as a run blocker and his pass blocking technique is horrible. Our offense will get better once we find a decent replacement imo.

Do people realize that McG just doing his job is now considered a good play? Dudes got a great personality and wish he were just better. Cool he blocked Mack on one play... go back and watch the amount of times he was supposed to chip a player before doubling the inside guy on a run. He is so inside his head he is forgetting the first move is to at least get a hand on the DE to disrupt his go.

We could always do worse but come on now... we could obviously do allot better. He is average and this season he's barely even chipping.... like thats his forte, run blocking.
