And it's Mcglinchey's man that he doesn't even slow down whose knee crunches Jimmy's ankle?

Do you not understand pockets and how they work?

Nope I guess you don't
Another win! And, unfortunately, another HORRIBLE take on the play of Mike McGlinchey. In his latest piece, "15 observations from the 49ers win over Miami," writer Marc Adams states the following about the play of our right tackle:

  • "One reason the offense continues to stall in the red zone is the play of the offensive line. Namely Mike McGlinchey. He's terrible. I write that every week. But not to be mean. I write that every week because he's bad every week. I'll be glad when I don't have to see McGlinchey starting for the 49ers anymore."

To drive home his point about how HORRIBLE Glinch is, he proceeds to post a highlight titled RUN CMC from the San Francisco 49ers Twitter page. Please, take a close look at the "terrible" play of our right tackle. If you see a player with the number of 69 taking out not one but TWO Dolphins defenders, yeah, that's our "terrible" right tackle. Glinch is the 49ers best run blocker. He routinely blows open holes for every running back. He is the only 49ers lineman to routinely destroy multiple defenders on multiple running plays.

Question to moderators? Do you even require that writers actually WATCH a game before commenting on the play of individual players?

Is it me???🤔

Or has he been playing better since Purdy has been the starter.

As a matter of fact he and Jimmy were playing pretty good before his foot injury

The last two games have been his best of the season. Coincidence, IMO.

Coming off his knee injury, he was pretty bad. He had two rough games and then began to improve. His current rating puts him at #34 among all OTs. At one point he was in the high 40s, IIRC. In his good years, he has been around 16-24.

CCould be but let's see.

Considering offensive line and secondary primarily cornerbacks are in need heading into the offseason I think there might be a chance he comes back on a team friendly contract....

Depending on how he continues to play of course which is been very inspiring the past few weeks

In plain ENGLISH, Mister Moderator, you should!
Wait, this guy has been playing with broken ribs? Why hasn't he been replaced and resting?

Moderators moderate the forums, they don't actually run the site and every content producer is only representing their own opinions and not those of the Webzone or anyone else.
Mike McGlinchey is my least favorite player on the team. Every time I watch him he's on the ground, getting over powered, or misses his block.

I think he is not worth his current contract and should be a replaced next season.

What the f**k doesn't the team have to disclose that on their injury reports? They're gonna get reamed by the league for that. Plus huge props to him for playing through broken ribs that's some next level s**t right there.
