They have a bunch of young O-line guys that they've drafted. They even started a rookie LG this season.

Could be. Could also be that the team has zeroed in on someone through the draft. He may be a small school or Division II find. The 49ers have proven time and again that they can find all pro talent in the late rounds of the NFL draft.

One site has his market value at 4 years, $45M. He is ranked as the #8 RT in the league. That would fit right in where multiple other sites place him in both playing level and salary.

However, with so little FA quality this year, his number will likely get pushed much higher.

I have penciled in Colton McKivitz as the starting RT next year. He was a 5th round pick, IIRC.

I don't remember much about McKivitz this year. How do you feel about him as a replacement? McGlinchy could be very frustrating at times but I remember seeing a lot of pretty bad right tackles this year.
