Of course he is. He has some weaknesses but there you are. Count the starts. Thomas and Foster, for different reasons, were hopeless. Kinlaw remains a wip.

Fosters play on the field his rookie year was top-five for all linebackers. He was a menace and an excellent player. The Saints were on the phone with him when we traded to get him so it's not like we were the only team that misjudged him. Also, one great year of production is not worth a very low first round pick, however that's more than a lot of teams get selecting at 31 I believe. Too bad his injury history and off the field issues torpedoed his ass

McGlinchey is probably better than half the first rounders in any given year. Many are busts. Some are solid starters or good, very few are greater. Mcglinchey is in the good category. He was still overdrafted though. If he were pick 30 or maybe a 2nd round pick, he'd look greater. Guys like Thomas, Foster, and Kinlaw would be bad picks anywhere from rounds 1 to 5.
McGlinchey is gone with free agency. He never lived up to his potential. He run blocking was above average but he was not much good in pass protection. We can do better than him for the money
We could possibly be worse off. He's a pretty good run blocker most of the time. But struggles vs speed and moves on the outside in pass blocking. So I hope for the best. I hope McKivitz can get it done.
Well………..Bye
Sounds like he's gonna get paid elsewhere. People like to s**t on Mike but overall he was a good RT. He's not elite and that's always the hope when you draft a OT that high.

All this talk of restructuring, not sure who they're gonna spend the cash on…unless they're not gonna do all this restructuring.

We are not really getting our high draft picks to deliver on the field under Lynch and Shannahan are we?

I mean Mike was a starter for 5 yrs. Not every single high pick is gonna be Nick Bosa. That's just the fact of the draft overall. I wouldn't call Mike a miss, he's about to get paid a lot of money.

you have one or two amazing drafts with multiple hits that sets you up for years (case in point Seattle or New Orleans) all those other misses doesn't matter as much all said and done.

it's all a crap shoot end of the day.

Yes. And the draft picks in general, on the whole, are delivering big time.

Can anyone verify this?

He was ranked a bottom third of the league T. Yes we can do worse, but I trust this front office to ensure we don't.

If tackles were manufactured in a lab over offsesasons, I'd be right with you.
