If Roquan was on the board, would we have still went Mike? The Zone would have been down for a while after that.

I was ready for it since I heard the rumor yesterday. Lol. I lole the pick
I will feel a lot better about McGlitch if we get something for Brown before day 2. In a draft of bad OTs, I feel like we got the "least bad" of the bunch.

Got to protect the franchise, it was a necessary pick.
Was hoping for a new popular thread on the zone but we drafted a Tackle instead welcome Mike, keep Jimmy looking pretty

Was he the only tackle to enter the draft? I don't mind us taking a tackle, but there were better options at 9 to fill
more immediate needs imo.
Almost as bad as the Thomas pick

I made peace with him possibly being the pick a couple weeks ago after the 49ers kept meeting with tackle after tackle after tackle. I think the 49ers are ready to move on from Brown and Shanahan wants to run his full offense starting this season, not in a year or two. I expect a Brown trade on deck, barring that, I could see McGlinchey moved inside for a season.
Boy, it sure looks that way, doesn't it. They did a good job of fooling me into thinking they wanted an edge rusher. I'm hoping they pick somebody interesting in day 2 regarding edge rushers. I think Brown's days are numbered with this pick. I think Staley can play a couple more years, but Brown clearly isn't a fit in Shanahan's offense.

Of course not, but he was obviously the team's best rated OT in this draft. OL is never a sexy pick, but you have to protect the recent investments on offense.

I think the 49ers shi5 the bed with this pick. LB,DB and Edge were bigger needs with very good players still available. McGlinchey is a reach at the 9 hole. Better to trade back and get a pick like the Raiders did at 10.

I'm sure they really wanted an edge rusher, there just weren't any worth taking. It appears that the Webzone way overrated how other teams around the NFL viewed Landry. He's still dropping.
