This thread will be moved out of NinerTalk later today. Such a shame he went from breaking ankles and stiff arming defenders to getting released. For sure this has taught Kyle to look into a player's mentality as well as his film before moving up to draft a player.

I really doubt that. I think him being released means Kyle is done trying to find the right buttons to push in an effort to motivate Pettis.

Shanny was done with him after seeing this

This was an NFL player?

He played football. I wouldn't consider him an NFL player tho.

OBJ does the same s**t yet balls out because he's a different person on the field. Pettis is just soft all the time and I can bet he doesn't like football like most. This is why player interviews are so important during the scouting and draft process

OBJ rarely balls out. Not enough consistency from OBj but is light years above Pettis.
I think you hit it on the head: he probably doesn't like football like most.

I could see this actually. When I went from playing high school football to college it was eye opening. Suddenly football felt like a JOB. I could definitely see how the NFL grind may have been more than he bargained for. Thats 24x7 football with your livelihood at stake so maybe it did expose the fact that he likes football but maybe not enough to survive the NFL. Fair point. What was up with the pre camp talk with Kyle tho...
Pettis just claimed by the NY Giants.

LOL good luck

Little kitty in New York City. Has a children's book feel to it.
Pettis is their new PR and will be Devin Hester like

Can we get this thread moved now so I don't have to look at his name anymore?
