I see him more battling Garçon or marquis. Taylor pretty much locked up the slot

Pettis spent most of his time in college on the outside, his vertical abilities will put him on the outside in the NFL as well. I expect him to be used all over the field and then to take over for Garcon in a year.

Taylor is a solid slot, but it seems like you may be giving him the Vance McDonald overrate treatment. I don't think Taylor will get much better. He has a role and i think it's different than Pettis' role
Pettis is not a damn slot WR. Mayock was wrong on that. I've seen him play a lot of college ball. He rarely played in the slot. I agree that he'll take over for Garçon in a year. I think he's going to be good...

This is why fans need to stop with the "we didn't need to select him that high!" nonsense. First it started with McGlinchey and soon after we see that Oakland clearly wanted him at #10. Now we also see that Pettis had no chance in hell of falling to #59.
