Pretty sure Spielman was talking about Pettis. Said he was majorly in the doghouse and came into camp out of shape.

He was talking about Pettis ont he broadcast but he was talking out of his ass saying the issue with Pettis was him coming in out of shape. That was not the case...

Honestly it's irresponsible to say sh*t like that if you can't get the story correct since people clearly run with it as truth hearing it from the "experts"

Yea, it was nonsense, but people are going to run with it now.

Pettis is most certainly a fit here which is why he was drafted by this staff. They just want him to be more consistent and hungry. I don't believe for a second that Kyle's issue with Pettis has anything to do with him not being a fit in this offense.

I heard him say that about Pettis. Also not sure it's true, although I did think the 9ers wanted to see Dante add more Strength than he did in the offseason.

I knew I'd find people talking about this here. I came for the same reason. They were definitely talking about Pettis. I agree with others that this is surprising news considering some of the beats said he bulked up through the gym.

Ok . Why the f**k would he be talking about pettis and coming in overweight and after a Deebo TD? He was talking about Deebo....who did come in a tad heavy

They were absolutely talking about Pettis. They said Pettis is in the doghouse because he came in out of shape. They didn't say overweight, just out of shape. He threw a nice pass though.
