WR Dante "Do something...anything" Pettis

I wasn't able to watch the start of the game live so I DVRed it. I skipped through the non-action and only watched the actual plays until I got caught up at halftime. When was the comment in question uttered? I can go back and watch it.

I knew I'd find people talking about this here. I came for the same reason. They were definitely talking about Pettis. I agree with others that this is surprising news considering some of the beats said he bulked up through the gym.

Trade Garoppolo Keep Pettis as Franchise QB

Sophomore slump is a real thing. Spoon went through it last season, maybe MAYBE Pettis is going through it but it's too early in the season to say but it doesn't look convincing so far.

Pettis needs to get the sand out of his vagina and get with the program.

Pettis off to a slow start, but a part of it is getting the trust of the QB. Right now Jimmy not looking his way. Kyle will look at the game film and see what we don't. Might be that there were better options or players that were better choice for jimmy on pass plays when he was in.. Not making a difference now, if there were no other players then I would be concerned.

Might be like last year slow start and finish big in the latter half of the season. Which is fine if we make the playoffs. Make the O keep improving with more options and ways to make the opposing DC have headaches.

Literally right before he threw a pass

Kitty working his way back out of Kyle's dog house. He did a good job blocking in the run and screen game. Pettis blocked downfield to sprung Mostert for a TD screen.

We might see him a lot more than blocking against the Steelers

Pettis already is more mobile than JG (Skule), can take a verbal lashing from Kyle and can throw outside the hash marks!

At the very least, we're still winning despite his lack of production.

His snap count jumped from 2 to 35. It doesn't look like Jimmy fully trusts him yet though. We have all season to figure this out.
