The guy wants it or he doesn't. He lives it or he doesn't. He has it or he doesn't. Kyle thinks Sanders has it. We'll see more evidence if he believes Pettis has it going forward.
X is often the featured receiver in Kyle's offense. Can you name a time the slot WR or Z was featured?
You're certainly right about the others too. It's not just Pettis. He's just been given the biggest chance of the bunch. Taylor and Goodwin can't stay on the field. Hurd can't get on the field. Deebo has a hx of soft tissue injuries. Pettis always seems to have something too (ankle, knee, pec, etc.). Richie rarely gets run and Bourne plays the Z (few opportunities).
I mean kyle has had Andre Johnson and Julio Jones in some of his offenses so yeah they're featured regardless.
Kyles offenses haven't all been straight up the same outside of them all being top end running teams.
Not sure why people assuming a 2nd rd pick was suppose to be the "featured" X WR anyway. In today's game you need 3-4 good WRs not just some featured dude. Kyle's scheme is all about attacking a defense's weakness and like Kittle said the other day, they're basically learning a new play book every week that's specific to who they're playing.
Kid has started in 11 games lol and you're saying he need to get it or he's not gonna you bring up snap counts yet he's played more than any WR this yr
comparing sanders to Pettis is down right silly, one is a 10 yr vet and the other hasn't even started a full season in the NFL. He was brought in because of that. This team needs a vet who's been there.
