Not really surprised. He was only being used on returns and he hurt his knee. Not a good idea to stick someone with a knee injury out there on those. Would make zero sense if you don't have the speed or agility to perform on them while also risking further damage.

He is stubborn, especially when it comes to Pettis. He's straight in his ego about him. Pettis should have never made the 2020 53. He's been a wasted roster spot for a long time. When you're a healthy scratch for the SB you have no business making the team the next season.
