WR Dante "Do something...anything" Pettis

We fans disagree on a lot of things on this forum but this isn't one of them. I don't know how anyone could make an argument for keeping Pettis at this point. He's not doing anything to help the team and sees little or no action. He's not even returning punts well enough to keep him. He might benefit from a trade and find a new life. It happens sometimes. Maybe he's just unhappy and needs a change of scenery. Get whatever they can for him.

.. and I understand that, but not playing the guy or trying to get him the ball when he does play wont help either..

lots of fans last year bashed me for throwing the idea of putting a Breida and Pettis package last year when he still had value, but look what happened now.. everyone in the league know he's got talent, and they are just all waiting for the 49ers to submit and cut the guy...

Dude is gone for sure before opening day next year. I think at this point it's amicable. If he changed his mind and wants to play football in the NFL it won't be with the Niners
