I usually take Grant Coen with a grain of salt but he was saying the same thing. Dante simply isn't a good fit for this team. He runs better intermediate patterns which isn't Jimmy's strength. So much of what Dante excels at, doesn't jive with Jimmy's style.
Dante runs a nice sideline pattern and has some neat double moves but doesn't excel at going over the middle nor does he excel at blocking.
In many ways, it's our loss. Wasted a very high draft pick that doesn't fit in to our scheme.
