Yeah, ability has never been in question. He's got some elite traits. Unfortunately, the intrinsic traits will have him traded. Looooooong line of these kinds of players at the NFL level.

I know which coach will be the first one to believe he can use this kitty cat.

Most punchable face in sports, hands down.
Ha...reminds me of The Penguin from Batman.

The edit of that gif where someone put a top hat and monocle on him cracks me up lol

My wild guess: Pettis to Colts for a late day 3 pick. They got hit with some WR injuries, have a winning team.

This is the definition of cooking DBs

You're entitled to your own opinion, but you're not entitled to your own facts. Pettis needs to go to an offense that pushes the ball down the field. That's why Seattle is a perfect fit. I envision he'll do a lot of this in that type of offense

Great post. Our coaching staff and a lot of posters in this thread should be embarrassed after watching these clips.....dude is talented.

I understand not making him a feature or even a number 2. But, they have completely shaded this dude and kept him off the field. Its unreal, and unexplainable.

I think it might have to do with two factors apart from Kyle just being weird. One, Jimmy just isn't that good at throwing accurate deep balls down the side line. Second, Pettis probably isn't a very good blocker. Kyle likes deception and wants to be able to run or throw with the same personnel. This is not what Pettis does.

Overall, him being traded is a really good thing for both parties. Pettis is too talented to rot behind guys like Kendrick "oops I dropped it again" Bourn, and the Niners could use the roster spot.

This makes sense. Both players in their teams dog house

On the bright side he's old. So maybe he retires. Or dies soon

He must be sucking in practice. Just too many WTF moments from him during the season(s) at this pt. Not fighting for balls, running wrong routes, questionable hands etc.

Give him a shot elsewhere, needs a fresh start

I fully agree. I think there's something more going on than him just not putting in effort or "not getting it." Maybe the coaching staff just doesn't like him.

He had 1 target this season and it was a major overthrow. He could help us more than Taylor and James if he was given the opportunities.

I hope he does well wherever he goes, as long as it's not against us.

I'd be ecstatic with any pick. Sucks for Philip Rivers that's the help he gets.
