As a Dante Pettis supporter throughout this thread I'm disappointed that he fumbled. But I would be disappointed if anyone fumbled. For the team and for him they just need to separate. Not a good fit and the coach has soured on him. Its hard to play for someone that has zero confidence in you.

Remember when Vance McDonald seemingly was just cursed? Ball would come to him and bad things would happen? Pettis is worse. McDonald would give a flash here and there.

This dude is going to tip a pass to a DB guaranteed as an F U for wanting to trade him.
I was close on this call!
Lol
I didn't think Hightower would be dumb enough to try Pettis on a return so I went with the next best option to screw us which was alligator arm a pass and tip it to a big ol' meanie Seattle DB.

Dumb enough to try him on a return? Doesn't he have the NCAA record for punt returns or something? He should have at the very least been our returner from day 1.
Yea, it sucks he fumbled but such is life.

It's kinda stupid how season ending IR guys don't free up some cap space. With covid and having to use practice squad so much + injuries it's kinda stupid the NFL doesn't allow like a LTIR for season ending injuries where it frees up cap space
