I hate to say it, but Jimmy getting injured is huge for Pettis. I just dont think he ever had a chance with JG. As others have pointed out, JG pretty much locks onto two or three guys in the line up. When Mullens was in yesterday, he started to spread the ball around. I think there is a much better chance of Pettis getting the ball, now that Mullens is pulling the trigger. It probably wont resurrect his career here, but at least be enough for some trade bait next year or when we cut him.

There's little evidence that Mullens has any connection with Pettis. No matter the QB, you're not going to see a different Pettis.
