It was. I would've taken OBO or even Sweat who you know, nothing big or anything but could actually play this year and add to our pass rush department.
So basically they are saying 2 out of 3 players make it back from and ACL. One of the criterion I imagine is how much an athlete is in shape at the time of the injury. Street looks like he is a workout warrior, so I think he will good to go.

One of the things people missed on the tweet is his former college line coach Ryan Nielson, who helped developed Chubb and him thought that the saints should have nab him.

2/3 recover without complications, but only 50% regain their level of performance prior to injury (40% for skill positions like RB/CB/WR).

How do they measure "regain level of performance prior to injury"?

Maybe it was by direct surveys from the player. Not sure I see what metric they used there, but it certainly sounds about right, 50-50.

Keep in mind this article is from a doctor that appears to be encouraging people to have ACL surgery done.

That is a hard metric to use especially when the player never played in the NFL, the guy might have sucked even if he wasn't injured.

Thanks. Of course 50-50 sounds right. Either they regain their level of performance prior to injury, or they don't regain their level of performance prior to injury.

Meh. Could have had him as an UDFA with 50/50 chance of regaining mid level form.

I would have as well...but maybe just maybe OBO isn't really that good? We all thought he was a top 60 prospect lol. He is undersized and get's swallowed up by OTs at times. He looked pretty maxed out as far as size goes. (I liked him but what the hell do I know)

Sweat has the bone on bone thing going on...he might not make it thru his rookie contract (reportedly) We will see, SF could have f**ked up OR it could have been a solid LT investment.

at least it was a day 3 pick, unlike our buddy Baalke

Lol NC is my Papi so I can say this.. But to make a statement that we could have had him as a UDFA is literally idiotic.

Also why did we pass on sweat and oko, for fun? Some of y'all guys take other people's OPINIONS to heart way too much.. Don't be a follower of a poster, and don't be a stubborn ass know it all either doubting our staff like we know better lol.

Some of the clips in this Twitter have been thrown up already but man he's a a strait up monster, dude is a bull. Sucks that we can see this kid play in 2018 but he will be a nice addition for next yr.

283lbs runs a 4.58 and reportly has a 40 inch vert lol

Also possible that guys like OBO and Sweat make the 53 but do not make the active 46 on gamedays this year or are relegated to ST's only as rookies.

How are other team(s) considering reaching for a player a justification for the Niners reaching for a player? And in this situation, those other teams ended up NOT reaching anyway. Hell the guy's own college line coach couldn't convince NO to take him.

The homerism is strong on this forum.

What makes it a reach?
