What would you have done?

They brought in Attachou which I thought was a smart move at the time, obviously he didn't show enough to stick around.

So who did we miss out on in the draft that was a must have? I was all about Harold Landry and wanted him at #9 but he went before our 2nd round pick and McGlinchey has been a rock for us.

If they get Bosa and Brandon Graham this offseason it will go a long way to improving our defense. And if they get guys like that or similar then their long term plan works out.

I think we need someone other than Graham. He's not a great fit in this scheme and he's on the decline. He's a tad overrated because he's never been exceptionally productive. Last year was an outlier. Most years he hovers around 5 sacks. We at least need a 6-8 sack guy if they're gonna be rotational.

Good call OTC

I don't think he is nearly as good as many think and for the money we could do better.

Mathews from Packers would be money better spent

You nailed it Oakland!

Those stupid spin kicks are pathetic.

Graham isn't my must have but while his sack numbers haven't always been great he's always done a great job getting pressure which sometimes is just as good if not better than sacks.

I don't think Graham will cost a monster contract and is someone who can provide veteran pass rush help but not require us to pay him like a decent QB. I think a bunch of guys get tagged so the options may not be great.

Agree with you guys on Graham. I'd take him but hopefully we do better.

I feel like his best role is as a lesser version of Michael Bennett. We already have multiple guys that can do that.

Yeah I mean, would he be better than nothing? Probably. Definitely stronger than Marsh. But I'm hopeful we land something better.

This is what I am predicting as well. Last year's free agents that were not franchised weren't that good. Same with the draft. If we took Landry we may not address it again this year. And look who we could take instead of Landry. Bosa is a huge upgrade better than what we could've done last year.

However we also have to consider that if we were not injured especially Jimmy we would never be in a position to draft a good pass rusher like Bosa. So we are kind of lucky Jimmy got injured in that respect. We absolutely have to get a free-agent pass rusher and graham seems like a good and realistic get. Those of you that think hopefully we can do better might not because as we saw last year the best pass rusher is usually get signed or franchise tagged.
