Any updates on how his rehab is going?
Yeah, he'll be competing with a $9M AA and Jullian Taylor for base down snaps at Big End.
So he's been cleared for full OTA's? I hope he's fully healthy and surprises a bunch of people. If the 49ers FO believe in him, I wonder if that will factor into their choice if it comes down to QW vs Bosa if both are available.
He's good to go. He was gearing up for full practice in December. But he definitely has zero bearing on draft picks.
Street, who tore his ACL during a predraft workout with the New York Giants in April, is currently on the Reserve/Non-Football Injury list and won't see any game action until 2019. But he could be ready to participate in practice in the days ahead, which would certainly be a step in the right direction with his recovery. 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan was asked about Street during his Monday press conference, and even though he didn't know exactly when Street would be available, Shanahan said the option would be there for him to practice soon.
"I believe so. I think so and I believe so," Shanahan said, per 49ers.com. "...I don't know if that's this Wednesday or next Wednesday. But, as soon as he can. He's ready to go. He's been working his tail off with [head strength & conditioning coach] Ray [Wright], lifting too many weights. No, but he should be big, he can't lift too many. But, we're excited to get him out there and hopefully he'll be good this week."
