Great we signed Earl Mitchell. Mitchell, Solly, Day, Givens, and Zettel will be our DL depth heading into the post season.
We lost Blair, DJ Jones, D Moore, J Taylor, and Street. That really hurt our depth, but at least none of these injuries hit our top four pro bowl caliber Defensive lineman.
Street has been a disappointment. He played like 3 games in 2 seasons. He only played a total of 38 defensive snaps out of these 3 games.

He was drafted knowing that the first year was basically a medical redshirt so this was akin to a rookie season. I suspect that based on what the team had available it was safer to put him on IR to free up a spot than to cut him and risk losing him. Need depth in the playoffs.

I'm really curious to know about his knee injury. I hope it's unrelated to his previously torn ACL.

Ya don't know if this is a new injury or just a mechanism to keep him on the roster

A guy this hulked out I feel like is always going to be a major injury risk for "load" type of injuries. That's a lot of body mass to carry around and with his strength, the force/momentum of planting is going to be significant and the way he's built doesn't seem to be all that flexible. Great strength without flexibility = higher injury risk.

Yeah, agree also. One of the few misfires of the ShanaLynch era. I belive he a 5th rounder also. Still, I'll give him one year more to make the team and contribute. We dont have that many draft picks next year, we need all the DLine depth we can get.
