Whoa! Bit of both. But I think good more than bad. Kyle knows his offense and hasn't skipped a beat in his last 18 years as a OC in having a top flight offense. I trust him to know if an O LIneman can play in the NFL or not. But really good news about Taylor! Really really good news! AA will be good depth if he's beaten out and might actually be healthier if he's not starting.

I dont like AA, Garnett, thomas and ward. They will hold that defense back.

How is Thomas holding the defense back? He was one of the top run stuffers they had. I expect him to only continue to improve and to be a force inside on passing downs.

Taylor is their expected late round high athleticism prospect. He's a 280 pound DL that ran a 4.83 40 and put up some very good numbers at his Pro Day.

Just bumping my own post after he was drafted. His main issues were injury related. He's otherwise a superbly athletic lineman with a high motor. I wouldn't be shocked at all if he made the roster.

Could be on a similar path to Adrian Colbert.

Would also like to know how Garnett holds the defense back? The dumbest posts on any football forum are ones claiming any player, whether they liked them pre-draft or not, is a bust, or a bad player, or someone who would hold a defense back, after only 1 year.
Julian Taylor, the next Jason Taylor

More to the point, how is Garnett holding the defense back ... lol. Look, they do not have to make a move with any of those guys this season, unless better option present themselves. It is not even worth the worry. If they get healthy and really produce, great. If not, they will be back up. If they end up on IR and out for the year, it would be the same as if you just dumped them. I just don't get the obsession with these guys. Except for Thomas it is a make of break camp / year. Let it play out.

Starting to think that but obviously it's very early. But it looks like he was def worth a 7th Rd pick and he will probably make the team.

Jason Taylor was a DE.. Julian is a DT..

As long as he can stay healthy, I think this could be that DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH from this draft..
