I like this kid - major hustler and outstanding motor.

We need to trade some of the deadwood for more 7th round picks.

Seriously though, I was pretty impressed by him last night. Let's see if that translates into real games at some point.
We need a mod to get his name spelled right in the thread subject line.
Gonna try not to overreact to his play but damn if he plays like that consistently next to buckner plus I thought Thomas looked much better.

It looks a three way battle for the strongside base DE spot. Blair got a good look and didn't do anything to stand out, good or bad, that I can recall. AA can't practice.

he played inside and as an end. i like him as DT on passing down, because he doesn't have the size yet to be lining up against the run yet, even then, he's not gonna be a NT.

and on passing down, you're not playing a NT technique anymore, so he should be able to play next to Buckner on the inside.

Earl is there for running downs that's as a starter, we aren't using him as a 3rd down pass rusher. From what the OP is saying they wants to see 280lb Taylor in there as a 1st down NT.
Just to clear up his weight again, Jullian Taylor is 295 lbs.

His Sparq score wouldn't be as impressive if he was only 280. Dude is huge and athletic as hell.

But is he 6-3?

yup. it'd be nice if he was a thick 300+ lb guy and could start over Earl, but not happening anytime soon.
