I think he's a lock to make the team. Now the question is who's he going to replace? Michell? AA? Somebody else?

Agree, Giedi. And i don't think he has to worry about replacing someone else. It is the someone else's who need to be worrying. It was a great response by Saleh, but Julian isn't going anywhere. THe guy has now played in exactly 26 football games in his life. A late comer to the game. Somehow, someway, he just has football ingrained in him. Sure he got beat or wrapped up a couple times, but he always was near the ball, and has power to burn. AA, Mitch...any of the front 7...those are the guys who need to worry. I'll put Eli in there altho different position, but still front 7.

someone needs to explain to me how AA will make the team or should make the team based upon his body of work so far in pre season

Probably taking the spot Tank had last year.

Did he play tonight?

He did, just didn't stand out today unlike last game.

Anyone know why Taylor only played a very limited number of snaps last night (Maiocco said something like 13)? Maybe because he played so much the first game and they wanted to get a look at other guys (Blair, etc.).

Hiding him for the practice squad stash.

He played decent in the Dallas game and the 49er defense in the Texas game (outside of the first Texan drive) did decent. From the very limited naps I saw of him at Big End and DT/NT at the Texas game - he was stout and was never overpowered. I think the NFL isn't too big for him and I think he'll be a good backup to either Solomon or Buckner. We shall see.

that says some really really bad things about the players we have in my opinion or how they are coached

Arik Armstead is practicing in full pads today. Team drills are closed to the media, but he's going through individual drills with the d-line.
