Just give it a few days. AA will pull something again
Man, I hope not, we need all the D Line depth we can get. Having said that - between Julian Taylor and AA, tough choice to make. Both, I think, have injury issues. AA in the pro's and Julian in college. Between the two, Julian is younger and seems to have the same ability to bully O LInemen, so I'd have to pick Julian. But it's still a tough choice if you had to make that decision between the two of them. I hope AA stays healthy from here on out, good chance he'll lose his job to Julian if he doesn't
If we had just seen a squidget of his play, that's one thing. But he played 32 snaps and that's why it was easy to find him all game...he played most of it. And did darn well. Couple times he got wrapped up but generally right there, either forcing the play one way or another, or pushing an OL back into QB...no matter how you slice it, Julian makes the squad...and will get ample playing time is my guess.
FTR, i am pulling for AA too. If, IIF, that guy could get healed up, dang he is ready for his breakthrough. He did get thru the OL last yr but after that was befuddled as to what to do. He can be a major force this yr but he HAS to get healthy and then stay healthy. In NFL, that is no small feat.So yeah, i am pulling for AA too. But talent wise...gotta hand it to Julian....26 games total he has played football in his entire life, and now he is trying out for the 9ers. No way you can let talent like that go.
