Maybe we can swap DL depth to a team for more OL depth.

I'm counting 10 guys on the D-line good enough to make a roster. Going to be interesting how this all plays out. Buckner, Ford, Bosa, Blair, Thomas, AA, Day, Jones, Street, and Taylor are all in it.

Damontre Moore

HOPEFULLY all 10 guys can make it through training camp....I thought Moore looked good on Saturday and I can see Seattle scooping him up real quick.

I'm not a huge AA fan but he's much better than Taylor

.. and more reason that we should trade him if what you all see are also being seen by any other organization... bottom line, can we really tell the difference if we insert Taylor on AA's spot??

I'm all for it, I just don't see anyone give up anything of substance at this point in the season for AA (and his $9M) unless someone get's hurt.

Gotta remember if he has a solid season and leaves via FA, SF will get a comp pick. So they shouldn't be looking for anything less then what they think he will get comp wise.

That's the key, anything less than a 3rd round pick would be bad news, especially with how our injury history is...

Totally. Schneider would be all over Moore esp. given their current state. I decided to drop Jones even though I love the guy. Street, Day and Taylor can just give you the same or more plus you still have Buckner, Armstead and Thomas. Even Bosa could play inside if needed. Just too many bodies and we're lower on ER's.

It will...but at least the fans will be upset for the right reasons...cutting a talented player.
Tbh I thought Taylor had no chance just based on numbers. But he's balling and I think Jones or Day is in trouble.

I don't know about that. Both of those guys have shown up against real NFL players. Jullian Taylor was ghost once he got snaps in real games last season.

Yeah, I'm surprised at the continued Taylor hype.

WELL, that's why we need to allow TAYLOR and/or anyone similar to him to compete against the opposing teams STARTERS... we go thru this preseason to evaluate BUBBLE players, and that's what we need to do.. Our starters should get some snaps and play a quarter plus, but the rest should go to the ones who are in the BUBBLE.

LOL, you must be new here.

Our fans will be all "should have cut X cause Y is so much better. Kyle f'd up and Saleh is an idiot, if only we had a real GM, then things like this would not happen."

Yeah, he still flashes, but I don't think he's taken much of a leap this past year. Though, there's at least a few weeks of preseason to gauge where he's at.
Saleh said Jullian is up to 305 after the team told him he'd be moving inside permanently.
