It's all on him and Street now. Day is terrible and I see no reason to bring him back with Taylor and Street waiting in the wings at his position.

But yeah.. please God, let Taylor and Street be pleasant surprises like Mostert as diamonds in the rough who step up big-time to fill the void with Jones out. If these guys can ball out, we will not only be set to make a legit run, we will have found some fantastic long-term pieces for our D going forward and that could give us more opportunity to address other areas in the off-season with whatever resources we have then.

Who knows when Taylor is back though. Sounded like he was going to be out for quite a while .

Right, a typical elbow sprain is 2-4 weeks recovery. If it's something more complex, it can be up to 6 weeks. Seems like, best case scenario is that he returns next week. Worst case, may not be available until some time during the playoffs.

I keep googling him to try and find any updates lol. I think it's critical they get him back now with jones gone. Taylor was looking great and should help shore up the interior
Just need him back by week 17

Did he play for DJ when he got hurt first time vs sea??

The only saving grace is they haven't placed him on I.R. yet...but there's still time this week.

Sad that's what we consider saving grace these days lol
We need him back next week. His return finally gives us a true nose again, which means we can rotate everyone around a bit more.
Very key and important rotational guy

He's a vital depth piece for run defense. I think with further growth he could be a guy who can replace Jones with little drop-off. Although Street is still unknown and it would be amazing if he could surprise and take that spot. Both Taylor and Street have power, but street I think has better closing speed.
Is gonna be back this week?

atleast pff didn't give him a 69
with him, street, and new guy that at least provides depth to keep bosa, armstead, and buckner fresh later in the game to get after willow midget. midget looking much slower (and fatter) and should be sacked multiple times this game.
Via Maiocco :

Defensive tackle Jullian Taylor's status is uncertain for Suday's game after he sustained a knee injury in practice on Thursday. Taylor missed the past three games with an elbow injury. He is expected to undergo an MRI on his knee injury to diagnose the specifics of the injury.
