Thoughts??

Let's see what the kid can do
If I remember correctly he is pretty brittle as well. Athletic but injury prone. I wanna say one full non injury year in college

I like that this regime isn't afraid to move young, "unheralded" players up the depth chart. Harbaugh was so reluctant to play the rookies, perhaps an early sign that Baalke was giving him garbage, but Shanahan and Saleh have put Colbert, Kittle, Breida, and others out there. Taylor has his chance to shine now.

This is also a symptom of Shanahan and Lynch recognizing that the rebuild is still in progress. Jimmy G's arrival has many fans thinking playoffs this year, but there are too many roster questions for that to be an expectation. Could it happen? Sure. More likely, the team will chase a .500 record while separating some wheat and chaff.
Watching Grant's video, he looked pretty good.
Here's a couple clips of him in college (couple times he beat Quenton Nelson)

kid ran a 4.83 at his pro-day reportedly...he's pretty athletic but yeah injuries are an issue.

Very raw. I was expecting to spend his rookie year on the practice squad

That's pretty damn good. AA out it's time to move on the dude is always hurt.

TFL would be an excellent indicator of play recognition and being strong enough to push upfield to set the edge or make a TFL... skills you need at BE.

PS: It's rare to see a highlight video without some mumble-rap playing in the background. Full 80's Synthesizer playing. LOL

Yeah, with the two new vets brought in, Taylor, Street and Blair, it's safe to say the FO has planned for life after AA...today.

That option never shouldve been picked up.
